Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has called on citizens to use electricity sparingly, he said in a statement to local media, APA reports.
Pezeshkian noted that the country’s enemies aim to create public dissatisfaction by targeting Iran’s infrastructure.
“The people should not allow dissatisfaction to arise,” the Iranian President said.
He added that “for now, there is no need for sacrifice from the people, but consumption must be controlled.”
