Pezeshkian: Iran will not engage in talks under pressure

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that Tehran will not participate in peace negotiations under pressure, threats, or a blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, during a conversation with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

According to reports cited by Press TV on its Telegram channel, Pezeshkian reaffirmed Iran’s position during the phone call, emphasizing that the country will not enter negotiations under coercive conditions.

The Iranian president also recommended removing all obstacles to resuming dialogue with the United States, including any blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
