Pakistani Minister of Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar called the Afghan authorities an "illegitimate regime," accusing them of aiding terrorism and oppressing the country's population, it was stated in a statement released by the ministry, APA reports.
According to Tarar, "the [Taliban] regime seized power by force without any legal basis and operates without the support of its people." "He emphasized that the Afghan regime provides safe haven, trains, and facilitates terrorists who infiltrate Pakistan to commit murders against civilians and security forces...," the ministry's statement noted.
