Police in Istanbul have conducted an operation against illegal drug trafficking, APA reports, citing NTV.
During the simultaneous operation carried out in Istanbul, Hakkari, Ankara, Bursa, Izmir, Hatay, Mersin, Van, Diyarbakir and Mardin, more than 10 tons of narcotics were seized and 10 individuals were detained as suspects.
Within the framework of the investigation, 135 properties believed to have been obtained through criminal means, 47 vehicles and license plates of commercial vehicles, as well as shares in 42 companies, were also confiscated.
According to the information, the suspects are currently being questioned by the investigative authority.
