Quoting unnamed Israeli sources, Israel’s Channel 12 says Israel assesses that the strikes on Iran thus far have achieved “very high success” in the goal of eliminating the Iranian leadership, APA reports, citing The Times of Israel.
The report, which is not officially confirmed and which the channel says is broadcast within the limitations of military censorship, says the assessment relates to senior commanders, and to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. Hebrew media reported earlier that a presidential facility was targeted in the initial strikes.
Israel is said to be “very satisfied” with the results of the strikes, the TV report says.
The carefully worded report further says that “it is not clear that [Iran’s Supreme leader Ali] Khamenei did not undergo a dramatic event.”
