Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has denied reports that his country will occupy Gaza, he told the NDTV channel, APA reports.
Netanyahu noted that although Israel plans to increase military operations in Gaza, it does not intend to completely annex the region in question.
According to him, Israel is in favor of transferring power in Gaza to a transitional government.
Netanyahu stressed that Israel will completely destroy HAMAS and said that it is working to return the hostages.
The Israeli Prime Minister announced that a security parameter will be established in Gaza, and noted that the main goal here is to prevent attacks on Israel.
