The Israeli army will soon launch a large-scale offensive on the Palestinian city of Gaza, in connection with which local residents should leave it immediately, APA reports.
This warning was issued by the Prime Minister of the Israel Benjamin Netanyahu whose video address was distributed by the Prime Minister's Office.
He recalled that over the past few days, the Israeli army destroyed several high-rise buildings in Gaza. According to the Israeli side, these high-rise buildings are used by radicals from the Hamas movement for military purposes.
According to the prime minister, in two days, the Israeli Air Force has already destroyed 50 high-rise buildings in Gaza.
"All this is only an introduction, a prelude to the main intensive action - a ground maneuver in Gaza City by our troops, who are now gathering and preparing. In this regard, I take this opportunity to say to the residents of Gaza: 'Listen carefully, you have been warned, get out of there!'" Netanyahu said.
