Israel has to prepare for a long and multifaceted struggle, said Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, Eyal Zamir, APA reports.
He emphasized that the fight with Iran is not over yet, and said that operations will continue against Iranian-linked targets in Syria, as well as against Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Zamir called the Gaza war one of the most complex conflicts Israel has ever faced and admitted that the army suffered losses.
"The Israeli army must carry out offensive operations on several fronts. We will further strengthen our air superiority and intelligence capabilities," the Chief of Staff emphasized.
