Even before his death, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei approved a military action plan in the event of a US or Israeli attack. This was stated by Major General Ali Mohammad Naeini, spokesman for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, APA reports.
"[The US] did not take into account that our imam defined the doctrine of the war, which was that the war would have a regional dimension," SNN quoted him as saying. "Operational plans were reviewed even before the death of the leader of the revolution and all were approved."
