"Azerbaijan is a neighboring state, and the Azerbaijani people are a people with whom we have kinship ties," Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said, APA reports, citing Iranian media.

He also said that it was incomprehensible why his country was deprived of this opportunity at a time when relations between Israel and Azerbaijan were expanding.
