There is a possibility that talks will be held between Iranian and U.S. officials in the coming days, a source familiar with the matter at Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs told Tasnim, APA reports.
It was noted that two Iranian officials would take part in the talks.
According to the source, the time and location of the talks have not yet been determined. The dialogue will most likely take place between Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and U.S. President’s Special Envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff.
Note that reports have recently emerged that talks between U.S. and Iranian officials will be held in Türkiye in the coming days.
