Iran joined the negotiation process despite being aware of the intentions of the United States and Israel in order to prove its righteousness and leave no room for excuses, APA reports, citing a statement by Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The statement said that despite being aware of the intentions of the US and Israel, Iran took part in the talks: “The goal was to demonstrate the rightful position of the Iranian people before the international community and leave no room for any pretext.”
The statement also noted that “the Iranian people have never bowed to foreign aggression and this time Iran’s response will be decisive,” adding that the other side will regret its actions.
