Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has called on G20 countries to take greater responsibility for building a more inclusive and just global economy, APA’s Türkiye bureau reports.

Erdoğan, in his speech at the G20 summit, stated that strong international cooperation, new policy tools, and sustainable supply chains are needed to revive global trade.

“To revive global trade, strong international cooperation, new policy tools, and sustainable supply chains are required. We support an approach based on fair and equal treatment in debt restructuring processes, especially for low-income countries. I invite all of the G20 to assume greater responsibility in building a more inclusive global economy where no one is left behind,” Erdoğan said.

He also emphasized that he highly values the progress made in restructuring the debts of Ghana and Ethiopia as part of the G20 Common Framework.
