Flight restrictions in Syrian airspace have been extended until at least the end of the day on March 18, a source in the Damascus Flight Information Region, which oversees air traffic over the country, told TASS, APA reports.
"The country's airspace is closed until 9:00 PM UTC on Wednesday, March 18 (12:00 AM Moscow time on Thursday, March 19 – TASS), with the exception of three corridors for flights arriving at and departing from Aleppo Airport," the agency's source said. He explained that these designated corridors lead toward the Turkish border and also toward the Mediterranean Sea, up to the border with the area controlled by Nicosia.
