Today, European Commissioner for International Partnerships Jozef Sikela and European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos visited Uzbekistan to participate in events related to the promotion of the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor, APA reports, citing UzDaily.
The visit will last until November 27, during which a number of bilateral and regional agreements are expected to be signed, as well as meetings with high-ranking representatives of the republic.
In addition, the European Commissioners will participate in the Middle Corridor Investors and Transport Connectivity Development Forum to be held in Tashkent on November 27.
Sikela will also speak at the third "European Union - Central Asia" economic forum on November 26.
