"We are ready to maintain the same constructive position today, as we played an important role in Istanbul before," said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan while answering questions from the press upon his return from Johannesburg after the G-20 Leaders' Summit, APA reports.
Erdoğan stated that Türkiye has had a positive impact on the process:
"We believe that reconciliation will be possible through negotiations that begin on agreed issues and a positive agenda. If a satisfactory foundation is established for everyone, the door to a lasting solution will open. The final paths will be opened for those who support peace. As Türkiye, which has had a positive impact on the process, we are ready to maintain the same constructive position today, as we played an important role in Istanbul before," Erdoğan noted.
