Since June 26, the number of people who have died due to floods and landslides caused by monsoon rains in Pakistan has reached 905, APA reports, citing Pakistan's National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
The most affected region has been the Punjab province. As a result of the overflow of three rivers, 1.3 million hectares of agricultural land in the province have been submerged.
Since the end of August, more than 4,100 villages and 4.2 million people have been affected by the floods, and over 2 million people have been relocated to safer areas.
