The Strait of Hormuz has not been closed, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said during a briefing, APA reports.
“The Strait of Hormuz is not closed, and navigation is being carried out under the control of Iran’s armed forces,” the Iranian MFA spokesperson noted.
He also touched upon the nuclear talks, stating that Iran has never trusted the United States and that the negotiations were conducted in an atmosphere of distrust.
“The responsibility for the current situation lies entirely with the United States,” Baghaei emphasized.
