25 people hospitalized with suspected food poisoning in Istanbul

Twenty-five people who ate lahmacun at a restaurant in Şişli, Istanbul, were hospitalized due to suspected food poisoning, APA reports citing Turkish media.

Meanwhile, 29 students at a school in Gümüşhane became ill after eating pide ordered from outside and were taken to the hospital.

25 people who ate lahmacun from a restaurant in Şişli, Istanbul, were hospitalized with suspected food poisoning. It has been reported that the citizens' treatment is ongoing and their health conditions are good.

Istanbul Provincial Health Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Emre Güner stated in a statement on his social media account regarding the issue, "Some of our citizens who dined at an establishment in Şişli district of Istanbul have applied to nearby hospitals with suspected food poisoning. A total of 25 people have applied to health institutions regarding the incident. The general health conditions of our citizens who applied are good, and necessary medical evaluations and treatments are being carried out." he said.
