Kirkuk parliament passes decision to give official status to the Turkish language

Kirkuk – APA. Kirkuk parliament passed a decision to make the Turkish language one of the official languages of the region. APA reports that Turkmen parliamentarians insisted on passing the decision. According to the decision, along with Arabic and Kurdish the Turkish language will also be used in official documents in the region.
The board with “Kirkuk province†written in Turkish on it will be unveiled on December 23.
