"I strongly deny it. Tribal people have their own customs. We don’t strike women," he said.
Al Qaeda-linked Pakistani militant Baitullah Mehsud said that this organization is not involved in the assassination of opposition leader Benazir Bhutto. Former Prime Minister’s husband Asif Ali Zardari alleged that the government was "not interested" in protecting the "most popular" leader of the country despite writing to the authorities that they were not satisfied with her security arrangements and expressed his dissatisfaction with the official statements.
“We confirm that blast occurred. But she was shot at firstly, and then blast occurred. The government does not interrogate witnesses of the accident,” he said. /APA/
