Baku-APA. Kyrgyzstan’s Central Election Commission (CEC) Thursday revoked the results of nine more overseas voting stations for Oct. 10 parliamentary elections due to possible irregularities, APA reports quoting Xinhua News Agency.

The commission made the decision at a meeting here, announcing as invalid the tallies of these stations in Russia, Germany, Iran, Ukraine, the United States, Canada, the United Arab Emirates and Switzerland.

Previously, the commission had already abolished the results of four overseas voting stations in Russia.

CEC chairman Akylbek Sariyev told Xinhua there were no signatures or seals on the electoral lists at these polling stations and there were also no announcements on adding additional voters onto electoral lists.

Sariyev said the CEC decision would be submitted to the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry and the Prosecutor General for further actions in accordance with Kyrgyzstan’s constitution.

Kyrgyzstan’s first parliamentary elections after the April 7 riots were held on Oct. 10. The CEC’s preliminary data show five political parties passed the threshold of 5 percent of the votes to form a new coalition government.

The parties are the Ata-Zhurt, the Social Democratic Party, the Ar-Namys, the Respublika Party and the Ata-Meken.
