White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt reiterated President Donald Trump’s claim that Iran’s nuclear sites were “completely and totally obliterated,” APA reports citing CNN World.

“We are confident, yes, that Iran’s nuclear sites were completely and totally obliterated, as the president said in his address to the nation on Saturday night, and we have a high degree of confidence that where those strikes took place is where Iran’s enriched uranium was stored,” she said on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

Leavitt said the president would not have ordered the strikes without confidence that would be the result.

Karoline Leavitt also noted that it would be “foolish” of Iran to close the Strait of Hormuz.

“If the Iranians do not return to a diplomatic solution, then why shouldn’t the Iranian people replace a regime that is becoming increasingly violent?” Leavitt added.
