US Secretary of State to skip NATO foreign ministers' meeting on December 3

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio will skip the NATO foreign ministers' meeting in Brussels on December 3, APA reports quoting Reuters.

According to their information, the United States will be represented at the meeting by Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau. The agency calls Rubio's absence from the upcoming meeting "highly unusual," emphasizing that it "will further raise questions about Washington's commitment to European security." The agency did not provide a reason for Rubio's absence from the NATO foreign ministers' meeting.

On November 10, NATO's press service announced that a meeting of the alliance's foreign ministers would be held in Brussels on December 3, with the program being agreed upon.
