"Netanyahu recently spoke by phone with Trump. The US President invited the Prime Minister to a meeting at the White House in the near future," the statement said.
The Prime Minister's Office stated that "during the conversation, the two leaders emphasized the importance and commitment to disarming Hamas and demilitarizing the Gaza Strip." They also "discussed expanding peace agreements" with countries in the region, the Prime Minister's Office added.
