US President Donald Trump stated that negotiations with Ukraine and European leaders to resolve the conflict "appear to be going well," but acknowledged that similar rhetoric has been used for a long time, APA reports.
American leader said he and the European leaders had a lengthy discussion. Trump noted that, in his opinion, "things are going well," while emphasizing that he's been "talking about this for a long time."
Trump also said he had a "long conversation" with Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He made this statement during a speech to reporters at the White House.
According to the American leader, he also held "very long and very good" talks with the heads of Great Britain, Germany, Denmark, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Finland, France and NATO.
