US President Donald Trump announced that in a telephone conversation with Chinese President Xi Jinping, he accepted his invitation to visit China in April 2026, APA reports.
According to the American leader, Xi Jinping will then make a state visit to the United States.
Trump noted that "significant progress" had been made in implementing the agreements between the countries. "We can now focus on broader issues," the American leader added, referring to cooperation between the two countries. "In this regard, President Xi [Jinping] invited me to visit Beijing in April, and I accepted, and in return, he will be my guest during a state visit later this year."
