US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the US presidential administration has received significant information over the past few months about which issues are truly important to Russia in resolving the crisis in Ukraine, he said while speaking to reporters during a break in US-Ukraine peace talks in Geneva, APA reports.
He noted that the American and Ukrainian delegations are currently working on adjustments to the crisis resolution plan in Ukraine, and the two countries' leaderships have yet to approve these changes. "And, of course, there's also the Russian side of the equation. But, again, we believe that over the past nine months, we've gained quite a significant understanding of some things that are really important to them," he told reporters. His remarks were broadcast on CNN.
