Mexico's government calls for a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine, Mexico’s leader, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, has posted on Twitter, APA reports.
He appeals to both sides for peace.
"We must achieve peace so that neither the Ukrainian people nor Russian people nor any other people in the world, continue to suffer. These wars are not desirable in no case," noted Lopes Obrador.
The president added that Mexico will be joined in providing humanitarian aid to those suffering from conflict.
The leader of a Latin American country has not said what time and how this will happen.
