Russian Deputy FM holds discussions on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State William Burns

On Thursday, Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin said that had discussions on South Caucasus, Transnistria and Nagorno-Karabakh conflicts with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State William Burns, APA reports quoting Ria Novosti

"In the constructive frame, topical issues of Russian-American cooperation were discussed, including South Caucasus and Transnistria and Nagorno-Karabakh conflicts" - said in a statement.

In addition, other international issues of common interest were discussed at the meeting.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at the latest press conference noted hat Russia intends to continue his mediation efforts in Solution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

The trilateral meeting between the presidents of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan will be held January 23 in Sochi.
