Hugo Chavez to return to Cuba for medical tests

Baku-APA. Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez says he will return to Cuba next week to undergo medical tests to determine the success of his battle with cancer APA reports citing Associated Press.

He finished chemotherapy treatment in Cuba last month.

Chavez underwent surgery in Cuba in June to remove a tumor from his pelvic region. He has not revealed what type of cancer.

Chavez said Monday he’s undergoing constant treatment, is exercising and meeting with doctors and even stretching out occasionally under the Caribbean sun to get a suntan as part of his efforts to recuperate.
