Baku-APA. Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi announced Tuesday that the nationwide state of emergency will be extended for two more months, APA reports quting Xinhua.
On November 24, a terrorist attack shook the capital Tunis, killing 12 presidential security guards, and another 20 individuals were injured in a suicide bombing targeting the bus transporting them.
Subsequently, a nationwide state of emergency was declared.
In an official statement, the presidency announced that the state of emergency will remain until February 21.
