Baku-APA. A total of 38 officials from former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi's government will stand trial on Thursday, APA reports quoting Xinhua.
The defendants, including former intelligence chief Abdallah Al Senussi, are alleged to be involved in crimes against humanity, perpetrated during the 42 years of Gaddafi's rule and the eight-month uprising which ousted the former leader in 2011.
Siaf Al Islam, the second son of Gaddafi, will not come to trial Thursday as he is still kept in custody at Zintan's prison.
