Baku-APA. Libyan interim government set up a crisis committee for the security incidents and natural emergencies on Tuesday, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

The Libyan government issued the Council of Ministers Resolution No. 662 providing a committee formed by the ministries of interior, health, justice, foreign affairs and communications , along with representatives from the General Intelligence and the presidency of the Army Staff.

The committee refers to prepare a roadmap for cases of security or military crisis or natural disaster, which will include locations and communication system to process the emergency.

Ali Zaidan, the Libyan interim prime minister, called for the government to form the security cabinet in the past, in regard with the cases of lawlessness and the proliferation of weapons in the war-torn country.

After the fall of the Gaddafi regime in October 2011, the transitional authorities assigned the previous revolutionary armed groups for border control, prisons and strategic installations in the country.

Two years after the end of the uprising in 2011, the Libyan authorities still struggle to form the national army and process the establishment of democratic institutions.
