Baku-APA. The general guide of Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood (MB) Mohamed Badei vowed that he and millions of supporters of ousted president Mohamed Morsi would sacrifice their lives for "our elected president," he told throngs of pro-Morsi protesters gathering in Cairo, APA reports quoting Xinhua.
"We will sacrifice our souls for him," Badei told the angry masses during their sit-in at Rabia al-Adawiya Square in Nasr City, Cairo.
"We and these millions will remain at all squares across the country to protect our elected president," the MB's general guide said, amid cheers and zealous statements of his supporters.
Badie was reportedly arrested by security forces among other Islamist leaders who have been arrested after Morsi's ouster, but his appearance denies the reports
