Baku-APA. Eight people were killed and 30 others injured, including two in serious condition, on Wednesday in a collision between a bus and a van near Morocco's northeastern city of Nador, local authorities said, APA reports quoting Xinhua.
The injured were moved to hospital in Nador, the authorities said, adding that an investigation was opened to determine the exact circumstances of this accident.
Deadly traffic accidents in Morocco are among the highest in Africa. According to data of the Moroccan Transport Ministry, a total of 3,565 people were killed in the country in 2015 in such accidents.
The ministry has adopted a new strategy 2015-2025 to reduce the victims of accidents by 50 percent.
