In a statement, the Egyptian presidency offered condolences to the American people for the victims of the explosions that took place Monday afternoon near the finish line of Boston Marathon.
The blasts killed at least three, including an eight-year-old boy, and injured over 140.
The Egyptian presidency also asserted solidarity with the family members of the dead and the injured.
Meanwhile, Egypt's Al-Azhar, the top Sunni Muslim institution worldwide, strongly condemned the attacks as "transgression against inviolable blood."
"Al-Azhar always calls for denouncement of all forms of violence," a statement from Al-Azhar said, urging all international institutions to work on spreading peace all over the world.
