Baku-APA. Algeria is determined to combat terrorism and is willing to share its counter terrorism expertise with Tunisia, APA reports the country's official press agency TAP.
Algeria's Interior Minister Dahou Azouane Ould Kablia, currently on a work visit to Tunisia met with Tunisia's national assembly speaker Mustapha Ben Jaafar Tuesday and said that he perceived a real intention among his Tunisian hosts to strengthen bilateral relations.
He also evoked bilateral projects on the border between both countries including water resources, road infrastructure and energy.
On his part, Ben Jaafar said that Tunisia should take advantage of Algeria's experience in fighting terrorism adding that it was essential that both countries reduce regional disparities along the border and boost bilateral development.
Last week, Tunisia's interior minister announced the dismantling on an al-Qaida cell as well as the arrest of 16 Islamic militants along the country's north western border with Algeria.
