Baku-APA. Security forces have found two undetonated bombs in a primary school in the northern Nigeria city of Kano, hours after suspected Boko Haram militants attacked two other schools using explosives, APA reports quoting Press TV.

The police found and defused the two devices in the Farawa school in downtown Kano early on Thursday after bomb explosions in two other primary schools destroyed classrooms in the city’s Hotoron Fulani and Ja’en areas late on Wednesday, AFP reported.

Police spokesman Magaji Majia said that the explosions, which he blamed on Boko Haram members, had caused no casualties.

The militant group has claimed responsibility for a number of deadly gun and bomb attacks in various parts of Nigeria since 2009, including several bombing assaults on schools in the city of Maiduguri in the northeast of the country this year.

Human rights groups say that violent actions by Boko Haram since mid-2009 have claimed more than 1,000 lives, including over 300 in 2012 alone.
