A villager named Anar Gurbanov has captured an injured eagle his own field while in search of his lost horse in the Khirmanli village of Masalli district, APA’s south bureau reported.
Anar said the gigantic eagle was injured in the wing when he came across the carnivorous bird in his own field, adding that he had been feeding the eagle with meat for the past three days of captivity.
Moreover, the villager seeks to hand the eagle over to the authorities for treatment.
It should be noted that eagles are rarely seen in the Khirmanli village, which is not mountainous.
The eagle has 290 species worldwide and 36 in Azerbaijan.
