Isa Gambar, who was hospitalized late last week due to heart problems, had several stents inserted in his coronary arteries, Firdovsi Ibrahimov, a cardiologist at the Central Clinical Hospital, told APA.
According to the cardiologist, Isa Gambar was placed in the hospital in a heavy condition.
“His condition is improving now. Isa Gambar will stay in the hospital for a few days. All necessary measures have been taken. He is under strict control of doctors,” said Ibrahimov, adding that cardiovascular therapies will be continued.
Isa Gambar, head of the National Strategic Thinking Center, ex-chairman of the Musavat party, was hospitalized on Jan.13.
