In consideration of the extreme situation on the Bayil slope, Prime Minister Artur Rasizade signed an order on Friday on allocation of rental money to the relocated residents, Akif Ali, spokesman for the Cabinet of Ministers, told APA.
In accordance with the order, 98 families will be given monthly rental money on a temporary basis.
The rental fee will be calculated on the basis of family composition, the spokesman said.
"Taking into account the interests of the relocated families, the prime minister has signed the order that the rental fee be transferred to each family’s bank account until the Bayil landslide area is fully explored and the government makes the final decision. The Sabail District Executive Authority is in charge of executing the order,” he added.
The landslide area is 200-250m southeast of the TV Tower. The latest slide, which occurred on Feb. 10, caused 4 houses to collapse completely. Another house partially collapsed. The cracks are 12 meters deep and 30 meters long.
