Azerbaijan starts relocating IDP families to new settlement in Tartar

The relocation has started of Azerbaijan’s IDP families to a new settlement in Tatar district aimed at improving the living conditions of 1,170 IDP families.

 

Residents of Kalbajar, Aghdam, Lachin, Aghdere and other district residing in educational facilities and uncomfortable muddy roadside huts are now being relocated to the new residential area, APA's Karabakh bureau reports.

 

The State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs has taken over the cost of trucks involved in the relocation process. A total of 34 four-storey buildings have been built in the settlement. Of these, 120 apartments are single-room, 504 double-room, 472 three-room and 80 four-rooms. There are a 120-seat school, a 280-seat kindergarten, a music school, a club-community center, a medical facility and an administrative building.
