Four houses destoryed after landslide hits Bayil, no casualities reported

Four houses were completely destroyed after a landlside hit Bayil slope in Baku, Abid Aliyev, head of the Sabail District Executive Authority told APA.

"There are no injured as a result of the accident because all the houses were evacuated 15 days ago. No one lives on the territory," he said.

Aziz Galarov, head of the geological planning expedition of the National Geological Exploration Service under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told APA that the landslide process intensified on Bayil slope.

According to him, the site is currently being inspected: "The depth of the cracks reached almost 6 meters. Additional information will be provided," he added.
