ICESCO Director General Salim bin Mohammed al-Malik and Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Supreme Chairman of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation, are coming to Baku to participate in the international conference "Developing an Artificial Intelligence Index in the Islamic World", APA reports.
The event will be held at the Heydar Aliyev Center on December 8-9, organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Ministry of Science and Education, and in partnership with ICESCO.
The document "Artificial Intelligence Index in the Islamic World", prepared to measure the development trends of artificial intelligence on a scientific basis, will also be presented for the first time at the Baku conference.
The aim of the conference is to strengthen cooperation on artificial intelligence in the Islamic world, as well as discuss the ethical, social and economic impacts of artificial intelligence.
The event will bring together education ministers from 10 ICESCO member countries, international experts, representatives of government agencies and a total of about 150 participants. The conference will include discussions on the role of artificial intelligence in the education system and a final declaration on the "compilation of an artificial intelligence index among ICESCO member countries."
