A presentation ceremony for the High-Skilled Migrant Portal was held at the State Migration Service, APA reports.
The portal provides opportunities for receiving and responding to applications from participants of the High-Skilled Migrant Program, granting employers access to information about foreign specialists, and offering details about the benefits available to high-skilled migrants and their family members under the program.
The Head of the State Migration Service, Vusal Huseynov, stated that the creation of this portal was instructed to ensure that the acceptance, review, and response to applications within this program are carried out based on the one-stop-shop principle:
“There are specific criteria applied in this area. When foreigners register, they indicate their special skills, and if they score at least 70 out of the required 100 points, they are considered to have met the threshold. Their applications are then reviewed by the relevant state agencies,” he said.
He added that the portal has been designated as pass.gov.az: “Considering that the portal is aimed at foreigners, the program’s language has been set to English.”
