The keys to the houses have been handed over to the residents relocated to the village of Hasanriz in Aghdara, the Public Relations Department of the Restoration, Construction, and Management Service in the city of Khankendi, and the Aghdara and Khojaly districts told APA's Karabakh bureau.
At this stage, 115 people from 29 families have been relocated to the village of Hasanriz.
A welcoming ceremony for the families was held in the village. Afterwards, the keys to the newly restored apartments were handed over to the residents by Mahmud Afandiyev, Deputy Executive Director of the Restoration, Construction, and Management Service in Khankendi city and the Aghdara and Khojaly districts. In his speech, M. Afandiyev greeted the residents on their ancestral land and stated that large-scale restoration and reconstruction work is being carried out in the territories liberated from occupation within the framework of the “Great Return” program. Modern infrastructure is being established in the villages; roads, schools, healthcare facilities, and other social objects are being built. He noted that relocation to the village of Hasanriz had taken place before as well. Specifically, in previous stages, 159 families totaling 556 people were relocated to the village. All necessary infrastructure has been rebuilt in the village for the comfortable living of the residents; the village has been supplied with electricity, natural gas, and drinking water. The school building was thoroughly renovated and handed over for students' use.
