Azerbaijan relocates another 31 families to Zangilan -PHOTO-UPDATED

The next resettlement convoy has arrived in Aghaly village of Zangilan district, APA reports.

Today, 41 families – 110 people – were relocated to Aghaly village.

Employees of the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Jabrayil, Gubadli and Zangilan districts, representatives of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons and other officials took part in the key handover ceremony. The families received the keys and settled into their homes.

It was noted that at this phase, 41 families, totaling 110 people, were resettled in Aghali village. These families had been temporarily settled in various areas of the republic, including dormitories, sanatoriums, camps, unfinished buildings, and administrative facilities.

In accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, a large-scale return to the territories liberated from occupation is continuing, APA reports.

41 families - 110 people - have been relocated to the village of Aghaly in the Zangilan district.

Those who migrated to the village of Aghaly are families who have temporarily settled in various parts of the republic, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.

The residents who returned to their homeland thanked President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive state care they received. They also expressed their gratitude to the brave Azerbaijani Army, our heroic soldiers and officers who liberated our lands from occupation, and prayed for mercy for our martyrs who lost their lives on this path.

The resettlement of the population to the village of Aghaly in the Zangilan district continues, APA reports.

Today, another 41 families ( 110 people), including 29 families (79 people) from Baku city, 5 families (13 people) from Absheron region, 5 families (12 people) from Sumgayit city, 1 family (3 people) from Bilasuvar region, and 1 family (3 people) from Sabirabad region, are leaving for Aghaly for permanent settlement.
