Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA. The delegation of Sweden’s Fire Brigade visited Azerbaijan on October 17-22 to familiarize with the relevant bodies of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the ministry told APA.
The visit aimed at studying the mutual experience on preparation for natural and man-made disasters. The delegation familiarized with the activity of the Ministry of Emergency Situations’ State Firefighting Service, Civil Defense Forces, Special Risk Rescue Service, Crisis Management Center, Caspian Basin Accident-Rescue Service and the Academy of the Ministry. The Swedish delegation also met with the Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, Major-General Etibar Mirzayev. The current state and prospects of the bilateral relations were discussed during the meeting.
