The senior pediatrician said the public medical centers had rooted traditions, high-standard equipment and maintenance and their work was different from the private clinics. Guliyev said he was against the childbirth in private medical centers. “I don’t support aid in childbirth in private clinics. Some private clinics are located on ground-floor of the residential buildings and have no conditions for aid in childbirthâ€.
The expert said rules of the Health Ministry were regulating this issue and set levels of aid in childbirth. “Private clinics have an opportunity for normal delivery, but pregnant women having problems are recommended to give birth in the public medical centersâ€.
Regarding the private medical centers not meeting requirements, the senior pediatrician said this issue was solving by the ministry. “Those centers are deprived of license and invited to observe rules and orders. I believe these issues will be solved soonâ€.
